I've just returned from mixing monitors on the 2011 FRANKMUSIK UK Tour, and whilst it might have been only a few dates, the band were more rocking than ever before!
FRANKMUSIK has returned from LA holding a brand new album in his clutches, with the next two singles already charting in the USA and available here in the UK at the end of the summer.
Look out for DO IT IN THE AM and NO ID.

I'm now fully DiGiCo ready on the SD8 and SD9 consoles.
I used the SD9 to mix monitors for Jamie Cullam earlier in the year and the SD8 to mix monitors for Hot Chocolate. There isnt a lot of difference in the two consoles, but what you can guarantee is the quality of the head amps, and the subtlety of the dynamics on the channels.
The Chaps Production Company own two Digico SD8's and one SD9 with all the MADI/DIGI Racks, it is such a versitile console and I shall be using it as often as I can.
Have a look what it can do for yourself: http://www.digico.biz/docs2/products/SD8.shtml
or contact chapsproductionco.com to hire one!

With a soulful voice that will raise your spirits and funky bass lines that will rattle your bones, this is Jessi Markee.
The Croydon protégé has a lovely new album rising in the iTunes charts (“All I hear is…”) and a vivid future ahead of her – if the world will just slow down to take the time to listen.
From the opening lines of the bouncing ‘Remember When’ to the closing grooves of ‘Tongue Tied’, Jessi delivers happy-go-lucky vibes together with intelligent lyrics and a warm heart.
But it’s hardly surprising that she knows how to pack a musical punch. Her father Dave was a heavyweight contender himself, throwing down bass tracks in his day for everyone from Eric Clapton to Joan Armatrading.
Recorded in Croydon but mixed all the way across the Atlantic in Canada, ‘All I hear is…’ is a thoughtful, considered and highly polished work that will appeal to anyone who relishes the finer things in life – but who still has an ear for a perfect pop tune.
Tracks included on the album have all been firmly established and carefully honed in Jessi’s live repertoire over the last few years of playing clubs and festivals around London and the South East. Several of the songs have had earlier releases on EP’s, but this is the first time that the studio collection has been brought together in one place
